The GDEMU v5.20.5 Optical Drive Emulator replaces the ageing SEGA Dreamcast GD-ROM drive with a modern SD card loading solution for faster performance, improved reliability and reduced disc drive wear.

Designed specifically for Dreamcast VA1 consoles, this solder-free ODE connects to the original console connectors for a clean install with no motherboard modification. It includes a full black mounting kit and selected SanDisk Ultra SD card option.

GDEMU v5.20.5 supports firmware updates, improved image recognition and updated timing profiles for games such as Skies of Arcadia and Resident Evil Code: Veronica. Dreamcast console not included.

Firmware upgrades must be performed carefully. Incorrect firmware update steps may render the device inoperable.

DreamPSU is not USB-C.
