This Japanese-exclusive Ice Blue Nintendo Game Boy Color is a rare collector’s handheld, restored for reliable original cartridge play. It supports Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, features the original 2.32-inch colour TFT display, infrared communication, mono speaker, headphone jack and classic Nintendo controls.

The console is fully disassembled, reflowed and rebuilt with upgraded components including a 2W speaker, Panasonic capacitors, new volume wheel and new contrast wheel. Runs on 2 AA batteries for up to 10 hours of gameplay.

Covered by a 12 month warranty. Image watermarks are not present on the Game Boy.

  1. Disassembly: Careful removal of power switch, volume wheel, capacitors, link port and plastic components to prevent heat damage from motherboard reflow process.
  2. Motherboard Reflow: Repairs cold or fractured solder joints to fix issues like intermittent operation, power management problems, audio-visual malfunctions, and unresponsive buttons.
  3. Rebuild with Upgraded Components: We rebuild the console from scratch, adding a 2w speaker, Panasonic capacitors, new volume wheel and new contrast wheel.
