Description
Description
The Anbernic RG28XX 32GB is a compact Linux retro gaming handheld designed for pocket-friendly gaming, travelling and short play sessions away from home.
Measuring just 125 Ă— 56.5 Ă— 16.5mm and weighing approximately 125g, the horizontal console is small enough to carry easily while still providing a traditional D-pad, four face buttons and four shoulder controls.
Its 2.83-inch IPS screen uses OCA full lamination and a sharp 640 Ă— 480 resolution. The traditional 4:3 aspect ratio is particularly well suited to classic home consoles, arcade platforms and handheld systems.
Inside the RG28XX is an Allwinner H700 processor with four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores running at up to 1.5GHz, dual-core Mali-G31 MP2 graphics and 1GB of memory. This provides dependable performance across most 8-bit and 16-bit platforms, arcade systems and the original PlayStation.
Selected Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and PSP software can also run, although performance varies considerably between individual titles. The absence of analogue sticks means that some later games require control remapping and may not provide an ideal experience.
This upgraded Retrolize configuration includes a genuine 32GB SanDisk microSD card with the Linux system installation prepared and configured before dispatch. Dual microSD card slots provide additional flexibility, with manufacturer-rated expansion support up to 512GB using a compatible card.
Mini HDMI output allows the handheld to be connected to a compatible television or monitor using a separately available cable. Compatible wired and dedicated 2.4GHz wireless controllers can also be connected through the USB-C OTG port using the appropriate adapter or receiver.
The built-in 3100mAh rechargeable battery provides up to eight hours of use, depending on screen brightness, volume, vibration, emulator and system workload.
Each console includes a protective EVA carry case, charging cable, instruction booklet and retail box. It is dispatched from UK stock with fast delivery, international tracked delivery to supported destinations and a 12-month Retrolize warranty.

Warranty Information
Retrolize Anbernic Warranty
All Anbernic handheld consoles purchased from Retrolize are covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware faults arising during normal use.
Each console includes a unique 7-digit warranty code, which must remain present and readable on the device for a warranty claim to be accepted. If the warranty code is missing, altered or unreadable, Retrolize may be unable to provide warranty support.
If the console develops a genuine hardware fault during the warranty period, Retrolize will inspect the device and, where appropriate, repair it, replace it or provide another suitable solution.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, cracked screens, misuse, forced or damaged connections, normal cosmetic wear, expected battery-performance changes, corrupted storage caused by user modification, or problems resulting from user-made software, firmware or system changes.
Damage caused by an unsuitable charger, cable, power supply or adapter is not covered. This includes damage caused by excessive voltage or current, incompatible fast-charging modes, poor voltage regulation or operation outside the stated 5V/1.5A charging requirement.
To make a warranty claim, contact Retrolize with the order number and a clear description of the fault. Photographs or video may be requested to assist with diagnosis.
This warranty is provided in addition to the customer’s statutory rights and applies to products purchased directly from Retrolize or an official Retrolize partner. The separate 14-day returns policy continues to apply to eligible purchases.
