Restoration Process:

  1. Disassembly: Careful removal of power switch, volume wheel, capacitors, link port and plastic components to prevent heat damage from motherboard reflow process.
  2. Motherboard Reflow: Repairs cold or fractured solder joints to fix issues like intermittent operation, power management problems, audio-visual malfunctions, and unresponsive buttons.
  3. Rebuild with Upgraded Components: We rebuild the console from scratch, adding an IPS screen, 2w speaker, Panasonic capacitors, link port, volume wheel, battery recharge circuit and 1800mAh battery for enhanced performance and longevity.

      Warranty Information

      Warranty Coverage:

      • Manufacturer Defects: Covers original material or workmanship flaws.
      • Screen Issues: Protection against IPS screen defects, excluding user-induced damage.
      • Button Malfunctions: Warranty for any dysfunctional buttons or controls.
      • Internal Audio Components: Coverage for issues with internal speaker or audio output under normal use.
      • Rechargeable Battery: Covers defects in the built-in rechargeable battery, except for issues due to improper charging or wrong charger usage.
      • Power Issues: Warranty applies if the device fails to power on or maintain power due to manufacturing defects.
      • Replacement Policy: In case of irreparable damage, irreparable parts will be replaced like for like.

      Exclusions:

      • Accidental/Deliberate Damage/Water: Damage from drops, spills, or deliberate harm.
      • Misuse/Abuse: Issues arising from improper use, ignoring manufacturer’s instructions, or exposing the device to extreme conditions.
      • Unauthorised Repairs/Modifications: Repairs or modifications not performed by Retrolize.
      • Cosmetic Damage: Minor scratches or dents not affecting functionality.
      • Environmental/Natural Disasters: Damage from natural events like floods or earthquakes.
      • Theft/Loss: The warranty does not cover device theft or loss.
