The BitFunx Mini VGA To HDMI Adapter For Sega Dreamcast connects an original PAL, NTSC-U or NTSC-J Dreamcast console to a modern HDMI television, monitor, projector or compatible capture device.

The compact adapter connects directly to the console’s AV port and converts the Dreamcast’s analogue VGA video and stereo audio into a convenient digital HDMI connection. Video and sound are carried through a single HDMI cable, removing the need for a separate VGA box, audio lead or externally powered converter.

Compatible Dreamcast software can use the console’s clear 640 × 480 progressive-scan VGA output. This provides a noticeably cleaner source signal than a standard composite-video connection while retaining the appearance and resolution produced by the original console.

This Mini model is intended for VGA-compatible Dreamcast games. It does not include the RGBS fallback mode found on larger dual-mode Dreamcast adapters, so games without VGA support may not display. This BitFunx Sega Dreamcast VGA To HDMI Adapter is covered by a 12-month limited Retrolize warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware faults arising during normal use.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, damaged connectors, excessive strain placed on the adapter, unauthorised modification or faults caused by an incompatible console, game, HDMI cable or display.
