Restoration Process:

Disassembly: The GameCube is completely dismantled and all plastic components are removed to ensure they are not damaged during the reflow process.

Motherboard Reflow: The motherboard is then meticulously reflowed by hand to return every soldering point to 'as-new' condition.

Rebuild with Upgraded Components: We rebuild the console from scratch, adding a USBC port, CubeODE Optical Drive Emulator and a stunning new ABS shell.

Warranty Information

Warranty Coverage

  • Manufacturer Defects: Covers original flaws in materials or workmanship related to the base console and the professionally installed HDMI modification.
  • HDMI Output Issues: Includes coverage for failures of the installed HDMI mod—such as no signal or loss of video—resulting from hardware or installation defects under normal use.
  • Button and Port Functionality: Covers faults with controller ports, power button, or reset button that fail to operate correctly under normal conditions.
  • Internal Audio Components: Applies to issues with audio output (via multi-out or HDMI), where failure is due to internal hardware or mod-related faults.
  • Power and Boot Issues: Covers scenarios where the console fails to power on or loses power due to internal component failure or manufacturing defects.
  • Replacement Policy: If a defect is irreparable, the affected parts—or the console itself—will be replaced with equivalent items, subject to availability.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Accidental or Deliberate Damage / Water Ingress: Damage caused by drops, liquid exposure, or intentional harm is not covered.
  • Misuse or Abuse: Issues from improper use, such as connecting non-N64-compatible accessories, using aftermarket power supplies of poor quality, or exposing the console to extreme temperatures or environments.
  • Unauthorised Repairs or Modifications: Any internal modification or repair not carried out or approved by Retrolize voids the warranty.
  • Cosmetic Damage: Minor visual imperfections like surface scratches, casing marks, or small dents that do not affect console performance are not covered.
  • Environmental or Natural Disasters: Damage caused by events such as floods, fires, or earthquakes is excluded.
  • Theft or Loss: The warranty does not cover stolen or lost consoles.
