Description

Connect compatible Nintendo consoles to an RGB CRT television, retro gaming scaler or video converter with this Premium Fully Shielded On-Sync RGB SCART Cable.

Designed for original PAL and NTSC Super Nintendo consoles, RGB-modified Nintendo 64 systems and PAL Nintendo GameCube consoles, this universal Nintendo MultiAV cable carries separate red, green and blue video channels for a cleaner analogue picture than composite or S-Video.

The cableโ€™s universal signal-conditioning design accommodates the different RGB output requirements used by the supported Nintendo hardware. This allows one properly designed cable to be used across compatible PAL and NTSC SNES consoles, PAL GameCube systems and Nintendo 64 consoles fitted with a correctly configured RGB modification.

Composite video is used as the synchronisation source, providing a widely compatible RGBS signal for EuroSCART televisions and retro gaming processors. This sync-on-composite configuration is suitable for equipment designed to accept standard 15kHz RGB through SCART.

Fully shielded construction helps reduce interference, crosstalk and visible noise between the RGB, sync and audio signals. This is particularly important when connecting original analogue hardware to sensitive video scalers or large modern displays where poor cable shielding can make interference more noticeable.

Stereo audio is carried through the same SCART connection, providing RGB video and left-and-right audio through one cable without requiring a separate audio lead.

Connect the cable directly to a scart compatible television or pair it with the OSSC or GBSC Pro to convert the original analogue RGB signal for a modern HDMI display.

At approximately 1.3 metres long, the cable provides practical placement between the console and connected television or video processor without leaving excessive cable behind the equipment.
