The adapter can also display compatible Nintendo GameCube games when played through an original backwards-compatible Nintendo Wii RVL-001 console.

Wii Mini Not Supported: The Nintendo Wii Mini RVL-201 does not provide the component video output required by this adapter.

Use 480p Where Available: For the clearest supported picture, open the Wii system settings and select Screen > TV Resolution > EDTV Or HDTV (480p).

Game Support Can Vary: Some Nintendo Wii and GameCube games do not support progressive-scan 480p output and will continue to use their original interlaced video mode.

GameCube Compatibility Requires RVL-001: Nintendo GameCube software can only be played on original backwards-compatible Wii RVL-001 consoles. The Wii Family Edition RVL-101 does not support GameCube games or controllers.

No External Power Required: The adapter receives the power needed for normal operation through the Nintendo Wii AV connection. No USB cable or separate mains power supply is required.

Display Compatibility: The connected television, monitor, projector, HDMI switch or capture device must support the video mode produced by the Wii. Compatibility with 480i and 576i can vary between modern displays.

Aspect Ratio: Select the appropriate 4:3 or 16:9 setting through the Wii system menu and your television settings. The adapter does not automatically change the aspect ratio selected by the console.

Original Resolution Applies: Picture quality depends on the connected console, game, selected video mode and the processing performed by your display.

Connect With The Console Switched Off: Turn off the Nintendo Wii before connecting or removing the adapter.

This BitFunx Nintendo Wii HDMI Adapter is covered by a 12-month limited Retrolize warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware faults arising during normal use.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, damaged connectors, excessive strain placed on the console AV port, unauthorised modification or faults caused by an incompatible console, HDMI cable or display.

Differences caused by individual game video modes, television processing, aspect-ratio settings and display compatibility are not considered product faults.
