Description

Connect your original Nintendo Wii to a modern HDMI television, monitor or projector with the BitFunx Mini Component to HDMI Adapter.

Designed specifically for the Nintendo Wii, this compact adapter converts the consoleโ€™s YPbPr component video and analogue audio signal into a convenient HDMI connection. It plugs directly into the Wii AV Multi Out port, removing the need for a separate component cable, external power supply or additional audio lead.

Installation is quick and straightforward. Connect the adapter to your Nintendo Wii, attach a standard HDMI cable and select the correct HDMI input on your display. No drivers, software or USB power connection are required.

The adapter supports 480i, 480p and 576i video modes. For the clearest available picture, compatible Wii consoles and games should be set to EDTV or HDTV 480p through the consoleโ€™s display settings.

Its compact design provides a clean and convenient way to use an original Nintendo Wii with modern HDMI displays while keeping the setup simple and tidy.

Critical Info

Nintendo Wii Mini Not Supported: The Wii Mini RVL-201 does not have the required Wii AV Multi Out connection and cannot be used with this adapter.

HDMI Cable Required: A standard HDMI cable is required and is not included.

Use 480p Where Available: For the clearest supported output, select Screen > TV Resolution > EDTV or HDTV 480p within the Nintendo Wii system settings.

Game Compatibility: Some Nintendo Wii and GameCube games do not support progressive-scan 480p output and will continue to use their original interlaced video mode.

Not A Resolution Upscaler: The adapter converts the Nintendo Wiiโ€™s original component video signal to HDMI. It does not increase the consoleโ€™s native resolution to 720p or 1080p.

Display Compatibility: The connected television, monitor, projector or capture device must support the resolution and refresh rate produced by the Nintendo Wii.

Aspect Ratio: Select the correct 4:3 or 16:9 display setting through both the Wii system menu and your television settings.

Connect With The Console Switched Off: Turn off the Nintendo Wii before connecting or removing the adapter.
