Get a cleaner analogue picture from your PAL Nintendo Wii with this Premium Fully Shielded On-Sync CVBS RGB SCART Cable.

Designed specifically for PAL Wii consoles, the cable carries the red, green and blue video channels separately through the console’s Wii AV Multi Out connection. This provides sharper edges, stronger colour separation and a cleaner image than the standard composite-video connection.

The cable supports compatible 50Hz 576i and 60Hz 480i display modes, making it suitable for PAL Wii software and compatible Nintendo GameCube games played through an original backwards-compatible Wii.

Composite video is used as the synchronisation source, producing a broadly compatible RGBS signal for EuroSCART televisions and retro gaming video processors. This configuration is known as CVBS sync or sync-on-composite and should not be confused with dedicated CSYNC.

Inside the SCART connector, an integrated PCB houses the required video and signal-conditioning components while providing a secure connection between the Wii AV Multi Out plug and the EuroSCART connector.

The cable uses 24 AWG stranded-copper conductors surrounded by aluminium-foil and tin-plated copper-wire mesh shielding. This layered construction helps reduce electrical interference and crosstalk between the red, green, blue, sync and audio signals.

An internal tension cord supports the cable conductors, while the PVC outer jacket and moulded connectors provide additional protection during normal use. An integrated ferrite core helps reduce high-frequency interference.

Left-and-right analogue audio is carried through the same EuroSCART connection, allowing RGB video and stereo sound to reach the connected television or video processor through a single cable.

At approximately 1.3 metres long, the cable provides practical placement between the console and connected equipment without leaving excessive cabling behind the television.

Connect the cable directly to a scart capable television with RGB EuroSCART or pair it with the OSSC or GBSC Pro to convert the Wii’s original analogue RGB signal for a modern HDMI display.

This Premium Nintendo Wii RGB SCART Cable is covered by a 12-month limited Retrolize warranty against manufacturing defects and hardware faults arising during normal use.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, crushed or cut cabling, bent connector pins, excessive pulling, damaged strain relief, unauthorised modification or faults caused by incompatible equipment.

Display incompatibility, unsupported video modes, incorrect console settings, incorrect scaler settings, JP21 equipment or devices that do not accept 15kHz RGBS are not considered product faults.
